THE J&A OBEN FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THE 2026/2027 DR BELINDA ASSAM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Applications are now open for the Dr Belinda Assam Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Health Sciences at the JAOF University Institute of Science.
The scholarship honours the memory of Dr Belinda Assam by supporting promising students committed to compassionate healthcare, professional excellence and service to their communities.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must:
Be applying for or admitted to an undergraduate Health Sciences programme at the JAOF University Institute of Science for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Demonstrate genuine financial need.
Show strong academic potential and readiness to complete the selected programme.
Demonstrate commitment to healthcare, community service or improving the well-being of others.
Show evidence of leadership, initiative or responsible participation in school or community activities.
Submit a personal statement explaining how compassion, professionalism and service will guide their future career in health sciences.
Complete the official scholarship application form and provide the required supporting documents.
Priority consideration may be given to applicants experiencing significant barriers to higher education, including parental loss, disability, displacement, caregiving responsibilities, etc.
